Upcoming Research Grant Application Deadline Approaching

Chapter members can submit an application for our chapter  research grants up until April 1, 2019.  Award amounts vary based on the number of applications received, amounts requested, and funds available.  Typical awards range from $300 up to $2000.  The fall deadline for applications is November 1.

  • 2019 Outstanding Student Performance Award Nominations Available

    NOMINATION CRITERIA:

    • Nominees must be inducted this year or current members of Kappa Epsilon at-Large Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
    • The nominee will be selected by faculty from the institution’s degree programs (e.g., BSN, MSN, DNP, PhD)
    • Please write a brief summary of the nominee’s contributions and accomplishments that reflect the Outstanding Student Performance criteria.
    • This will be read by a faculty member during the awards presentation.

    ·         Research / scholarship

  • 2019 Excellence in Nursing Award Nominations Available

    NOMINATION CRITERIA:

    • Nominees must either be inducted this year or current members of Kappa Epsilon at-Large Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
    • Submit a brief summary of the nominee’s contributions and accomplishments that reflect the criteria for the selected award (see next page).
    • The nominee agrees to be nominated and supplies a current curriculum vitae.
    • Two additional letters of Peer / Faculty / Leader / Mentee recognition, endorsement, or support are submitted.
  • The election results are in!

    On behalf of the Leadership Succession Committee, thank you for participating in the annual election to fill Board positions for the upcoming year. The election results are as follows:

    Please join us in congratulating our new and returning Board members. Instillation will be held on Monday, May 13 at 6:00pm during the regularly scheduled Board Meeting in person at GVSU Pew Campus, DeVos 302 E or Face Book live will start 6:15 pm during annual business meeting.

    Abstracts are now being accepted for the spring, 2019 research event, "Mental Health Care Disparity in Our Region"  Additional information regarding the event as well as presentation information and abstract submission instructions is available in the link below.
